How to convert PDF to CSD format?

I have many PDF files that I want to convert to CSD format so that I can view them on my Cowon A3. How can I do this? I have tried the software bundled with my player called cowon m Trans and also CSD Editor. The application hangs when I'm trying to convert the files. What is the solution for this problem? Please help!
