how to change usermode

hi guys
i think it may be a silly "?"... but the thing is when i want to change the way user log on or off mode it does not show any change. i want to change the user logon and off mode from "use the welcome screen " to "use fast user switching" .i checked the "second" option to use fast user swithching logging as a administrator as well as computer administrator.but there is no result. pl help.

well it cant be done because that is not the process... Both are not 2 ways like Option 1 or Option 2 , rather the are related to each other like when you uncheck the option "use the welcome screen" u dont see the "use fast user switching" option active as its not applicable any more... the option use fast user switching can only be used when the option "use the welcome screen" is turned on !!!
