How does one get spam SMS's to stop?

DND registry is for stopping calls only. And even after registering for this, service provider can send you their own promotional messages to you.

if you were referring to my reply, then it DND not DNC i.e do not disturb. no messages or calls from the service provider alerting you about new recharge vouchers and caller tunes. I got this info from CC and sent that msg 4 months ago, since then no more calls or msgs from vodafone.
