How do you guys clean your system?

Most of the recommendations online is to use an compressed air can but there are none available in India.

I just use a brush for desktop pc, or the occaisonal vaccum blow, for laptop.

I use blower to blow out the dust and rest i wipe dust from dry cloth.

i use a combination of the following things as per the need:

electric blower, vacuum cleaner, dry as well as a damp cloth, shaving brushes (2 types - one with soft bristles, and the other with hard), paint-brush (hard bristles), LCD-cleaner liquid, toothbrush, compressed air-can, a pair of cleaning anti-static hand-gloves with bristles having micro-pores.

How often do you guys clean your systems?

I cleaned mine 3 days ago. And it was a great experience. Because it was the first time I opened my cabinet since i bought the desktop 4.2 years ago xD Had enough dust to create an artificial dessert. There's still some fine dust left in the creeks because I wasn't sure if I should clean it with a general purpose brush as static electricity might short the ICs. But well, reading this thread, I take it that there's no harm done in using small paint brushes. Time to find a brush and open up the case for the 2nd time. haha.

4.2 years is way way too long. Unless you were in an AC environ. Every 4-5 months is the max out.

Not needed. Just keep the screen and outside exteriors clean. With a soft slightly damp cloth. When it is off.
