Are you using gmail? Only gamil blocks .exe attachments AFAIK. Anyway, you can try renaming .exe to .jpg and then send it. The reciever can change it back to .exe :)

Zip/Rar the file by using winrar and send it.

Hey there is a complete solution:-

1. Open winzip or winrar or right click the file you want to send.:)
2. then choose add to winzip\winrar.
3. you will see a dialog box contain the name of the file to be zipped.
4. for example the file is "rishabh.exe" winzip\winrar will show it in dialog box as "rishabh.zip"
5. rename the text in dialog box :- "rishabh.zip" to "rishabh.txt" and the file will convert itself to a text file.
6. DONE ! you can now send this file via e-mail:p

Rename the extension of the exe file.
> My Computer
> Tools
> Folder Options
> View Tab
> Uncheck the option "Hide extensions for known file types".
> Click "Ok"

Now .exe extension is shown to the setup file. rename "exe" to "txt". Now you can send it through Gmail. Just put a note in the matter to rename the extension to "exe" for the receiver of the mail.

Coming back to life ..
^^ Or open a command prompt and rename it using :
Ren myexe.exe myexe.doc {press enter}

:p .. works better if you have multiple files to rename ..

Why to replace *.exe to *.txt or something else just remove the extension and make it a no ext file.. and write note to rename to .exe ;)
