how do i password protect files and folders in win XP pro (without any SP).

my file system if FAT32

well there is a good software called Magic Folder.. but its paid..

You will have to use a software as Xp does not have any folder locking feature.

Alternatively, why dont you zip up the folder and supply a password when you zip it .

After zipping it up you can destroy the main unprotected folder.
