Hi friends,
Kindly suggest me home theatre system for living room of 15x10sq. feet.
Source is Panasonic plasma and audio CD (old Hindi songs).
Budget is around Rs 60K.

not much idea but onkyo & denon seems to be the best options.for such a budget take a personal demo & any store should oblige(with your audio cd & some other stuff).

Marantz NR 1402 AV Receiver
Boston Acoustics XS 5.1 Speaker System
Rs 45000

Canton Movie 125 MX - Rs 39000
Pioneer VSX 521 - 24000

Boston Acoustics A 2310HTS - Rs 38000
Denon 1513 - Rs 25000
Rs 63000

If you want Floorstanders then....

Jamo S 426 HCS3 + SUB 210 Home-Theatre Package - Rs 42000
Onkyo TX Sr 508B - 27000
Rs 69000

Pure music minus bells and whistles

Tannoy HTS101 (5.1) - Rs 49500
Marantz - SR 3053 - Rs 18000
Rs 67500

I tried to make them as musical as possible at that budget. Since you have a very tight budget for an entry level separate 5.1 system I hope it will please you. Please do take Demos of the combinations before buying.

Hi,
Can you suggest me please combination of Denon AVR with Polk or Mission.
If I use only front speakers with subwoofer and Denon AVR (considering my small living room), kindly suggest models in KEF please.

KEF will never come cheap!

KEF Q 300 - Rs 31000
KEF C4-SUBWOOFER - Rs 25000
Denon 1513 - Rs 25000

Its over budget already!

Polk Blackstone TL1600 - Rs 35000
Denon 1513 - Rs 25000
Rs 60000/-

Apart from the blackstone from Polk going for separate speakers and subwoofers in Polk is not such a great option, rather pay a bit more and get Q Accoustics 2020s/2010s and add a Velodyne CHT- 8Q sub later on!

The speakers I suggested in my previous post are all superb in their fields and will do better than any Polk or Mission of similar price range.

Apart from the Jamo set up all the speakers I have suggested are your room friendly.

Thanks a lot

Hi,
How are the reviews of Polk Blackstone TL1600 with Denon AVR?
Should I go ahead and buy it?

They are good for the money.
Better take a Demo and then buy it. Because what might sound good to me might not sound great to you!

Why dont you visit Mumbai and take demos of the mentioned systems! You might come up with even better combinations than the ones suggested that suits your needs optimally.
