!!! HELP !!! what to do in case of error 691.

I am using (well perhaps havent even used it really) BSNL and after setting up internet connection when i try to dial the PPPoE dialer all i get is error 691.

691 Access was denied because the user name and/or password was invalid on the domain.

What could be the reason ?
Anybody encountered it before ?
What should i do (of course dont tell me to another alternative like airtel cuz this is the only ISP at my place) ?
Is there something wrong with server side binding ?
How can i check the authentication ?

NOTE: I am able to login to my e-mai(using same username and password)l provided by dataone and can see inbox etc from other netcafe. So does that means my username and password are not fake.

some time it happens with me.. too..

but usually enter ur user name as.

username (dont add the @dataone)

and the enter the password...

if those 2 things are right, then may yes its a problem with DATAONE it self...

go to any near by frnd running dataone or any cybercafe to check at *10.240.43.216/ that the user ID and password are really corrent of not

Nope.. not with him.. it seems he may have some issue with DataOne end... its a plan 900 and may be Data Guyess have screwed up while assigning the telephone number for the ID...
