I will try and add a balanced rig that'll let you add a powerful gpu as well as a good enough cpu for threaded applications.

Check the following :

Processor - AMD FX 8320 - 9.9k

MotherBoard - Gigabyte GA 970 DS3 - 5.7k

Ram - Corsair Vengeance DDR3 8 GB (1 x 8 GB) PC RAM - 5.2k

PSU - Seasonic S12II 620 Watts PSU -5.6K

Graphics Card - Asus Gtx 760 DC II OC or MSI Gtx 760 TFII OC - 22k

Cabinet - BITFENIX CABINET MERC ALPHA -2.8k

Total = 51k

Overshot your budget by 6k but this thing is perfect for gaming. Do note that performance of solidworks in desktop graphics is miserable.
Do post your thoughts on this.

OP can opt for RAM's from Kingston HyperX 8GB 1600MHz CL9 for 4.3k. Warranty is more or less the same & performance too.

1, Zotac offers 5 years warranty, if the product is registered within 14 days of purchase.
2. MSI has closed all the 3rd party service providers and will provide warranty directly. But the new process is still not clear.

TBH..

MSI haven't stopped supporting RMA's for existing customers as well as new. You can get it done though Digicare.
Neither they stopped releasing new Product line up in india. So this is just another rumor.

Zotac can be recommended here, due to their 5yrs warranty policy, but not due to MSI's no more Physical Presence inside India.

Cabinet's choice is subjective. I suggest you to post a few cabinet's name you like and we'll select the best one of them.

thanks !!

just for comparison can any1 suggest in Intel world m/b +cpu

> Do not use SMS lingo in the forum.

> An overclockable Intel config would include i5 4570k and at least an Asus H87 board and the combo would cost around 24-27k depending which motherboard you pick.

ok..

we have decided to invest in GPU in later stage along with monitor (S2240L), so the revised budget is 35k

1. CPU - (intel only - overclocking - YES)
2. Mobo- suitable
3. RAM - 8GB
4. PSU -
5. Cabinet - NZXT Lexa S/NZXT CHIMERA PHANTOM

thanks in advance...

1. i5-4670K @ 16k
2. Asus Z87-K @ 13K
3. Kingston HyperX Blu @ 4.2k
4. Seasonic S12II 520/620 @ 4.5/5.2k
5. :-D

Additional Component : CM Hyper 212 Evo @ 2.2k

^^ price has incresed a lot so the above components is going to cost OP around ~39k and for mobo Op can opt for Asus Maximum VI Hero @ 12.5k - nothing beats a ROG board when it comes to OCing ;)

One more thing is after market cooler for haswell is not an additional component but a necessity and Op better get a WC like CM Seidon 120M at-least and the phantom 410 chymera is going to cost ~9k at-least so the overall setup will be around ~52-55k.

Now all Op can do is he can opt for a i5 3570k [ saving 1.5k ], Asus P8Z77-M [ saving 2.5k ] and of -course a cheap cabinet and cooler. For cabinet he can look for phantom 410 normal edition.

hi

Thanks !!

Yes

My friend decided first to buy core parts

CPU+M/B+Ram+PSU+Case (his budget =35-40k )

1 . AMD (8350+M5A97+Gskill 8gb+ S12II 620) = 30k remaining money for case

2 . Intel 4th gen (i5-4670K+Asus Z87-K OR ROG board+Gskill 8gb+ S12II 620) = 39k no money for case

and later he will buy these 1 by 1
S2240L+GTX 760+2TB HDD+ CPU Cooler (maybe Total =45k)

today we will decide .

3. i5 3570k+Asus P8Z77-M cost?
