Help regarding RAM URGENT..

In my old pc I have 2 sticks of ddr2 1gb transcend 667 mhz ram...Can i add another 2gb 667mhz ddr2 ram? or should I add only 1gb sticks?

See if you have free ram slots. If yes then you can add any combinations of ram sticks(same frequency)

dude i have 2 1gb transcend 800mhz and two 2gb 667mhz in dual mode in my system. running fine without a problem.

First of all post your motherboard details.
bcoz some mobo has limit on Max Ram installation.
remember that the clock speed (FSB) & timings should match for
better performance.

Mobo: Intel DG965RY
Processor: C2D E6600
RAM: 2X1gb transcend ddr2 667
gfx: XFX 9800 gtx+ 512mb
hdd: 250gb

I bought 2 new sticks of 2X2gb transcend ddr2 800.. can i add them?

Only when its too mandatory to update.coz If not done properly will make the mobo useless...I remember a thread where after updating the BIOS a user was facing an Issue...
