My DVD Writer was doing well and all of a sudden it denies to write DVDs.
I always keep backup of my important files in a DVDR Disc. But, I am getting a Power Calibration Error while trying to write DVDs. All the CD's are burning properly, only DVDs are giving that error.
This is not a DVD Write issue as I tried 3 different writer and when I connect my own writer to a different computer, it works fine.

Here is the error log I am getting..

Always search before you post. There are several threads on the same topic in this forum already. Although as you are a new member and it is your 1st post, I am posting the solution here. :)

Most probably you are getting this error because of the IMAPI CD BURNING COM SERVICE enabled on your PC. Just disable it and check if it works :D To disable it,
  1. on Desktop click Start
  2. select Control Panel
  3. click on Administrative Tools
  4. click on Services
  5. browse your way down to IMAPI CD BURNING COM SERVICE
  6. right click (on IMAPI) then select properties
  7. in the middle of the window, it will say start up type. Click on the arrow to the right and select disabled.
  8. make sure you click APPLY
If the procedure does not rectify the problem then your drive is faulty. Please take it to the service center.
