Hi,

I run MS WIN XP with sp1 in my pc and installed auto patcher
xp's latest edition from DIGIT DVD.recently i fiddled around
file types in folder options and i clicked on the advanced
settings of file folder .I tried to change icon and to add
the save folder list to file option to it.first when i clicked
it,it used to give me a dos command console. So i enabled the
option open the folder in its own window as default as there
is no open on the same window option in it.Now when i click
my folders, every folder opens on its own window with
explorer menu besides it.And yes the option for opening every
folder in its own window is disabled in general tab in folder
options.

Please HELP me restore the default option in me folder setting
as i have disabled my system restore option to save disk space.

Bye.

Try this :
Tools>Folder Options>View Tab > "Button Click = Reset All Folders"
and then in the General Tab, Click on the radio button to open in the same window.

Again goto Folder Options and select again file folder, now u should see the button Restore or something like that, click on that and it should solve the problem...
