heating lappy

hello people

I seek help regarding a lappy cooler purchase , my sisters official lappy is crossing 92 C and it restarts again and again at 100 C.

the tech dept at her India office are clueless about it, so she needs a lappy cooler which can hold the temps back atleast till her next trip overseas.(the head office sanctioned the machine)


please suggest some good vfm coolers the laptop weighs 2.2 kg/5lbs acc to the manufacturers website.

so suggest something that can hold a 3kg machine if weight matters in the decision.

the machine is thinkpad T410 wth core i5. 3gig ram and nvidia nvs 3100

A cooling pad is not gonna help much. Get the laptop opened and cleaned by a authorised service centre. And see that there are no rogue processes or viruses.

Does the laptop feel normal to use? as in the response speed, say opening a pdf and normal stuff like that?

Tech dept? . what kind of idiots reside there who cannot troubleshoot a heating normal laptop.
