HDMI and DVI

I have an LCD monitor that I use just like a normal LCD TV. It has VGA and DVI input. I also have plug and play TV tuner box that has DVI-I (Single link)input and output. I intend to buy a DVD player with HDMI output.

Is there any adapter to connect HDMI output to my monitor that has DVI input only. Besides, suggest the best overall cable set-up for the above equipments.

There is adongle that converts DVI to HDMI, usually comes with the graphics card but u might also get it for 200-300/-!

At present only Intex TFT LCD TV Monitor acts like a stand alone T.V. There is a provision to connect monitor card, DVD player In/OUT, and HDMID. If you get any other monitor as ranked by Digit as No.1 of DELL 17" in Dec. 2008 issue, it will not be as good as INTEX which is a TV by itself. dr. t. padmanaban TARITEC, thanjavur 5 Dec.2008
