HDD pins broken

Yesterday when i tried to remove the IDE cable from my HDD 2 pins from my HDD came off. Can we fix it or is my HDD now useless?
If yes wat should i do?

U can get the PCB changed. Will cost around 400-500 bucks.

Some of my friends have had broken pins in their hdd but they found that it still worked. Seems some pins can be broken. But you might've broken all the wrong pins. Better get it checked with the dealer.

Ya because some r just ground pins. I tried to place the broken pins in their carefully attached the ide cable and it worked

I am using seagate hdd(80 gb) for a year now with a broaken pin.
Me too quite amased that time but it is matter of which pin got screwed.
