Having K750i for 2 Yrs. What next ???

and i think 6120c will take time to release ;)

Yes.You can always install office suite(word,excel,powerpoint) on your Nokia 5700 & do your work.
Also the symbian software library is such a big one,that u will find many great software than java.So this is a big plus in taking a symbian phone.
As usual java will work great on Nokia 5700,so you won't miss your K750i apps.

Also the review you read was written by me on 5700 itself.See it's a good smartphone.

Only the camera is crap.But buy a digicam after sometime & you will not regret the phones cam. :))

I say take this phone with your closed eyes.Truely a gem phone.

It means that I can go for 5700. Now the only thing is left to prepare myself for stretching my budget around 2000-3000.:confused: . But I will go for it as everybody has advised for it. But I am surprised nobody has said anything about Samsung E840/Nokia E50 i was supposing these are good mobiles.

I don't know about the samsung.AFAIK you won't get symbian OS in samsung.
Leave it,5700 rocks.

While writing this post I was thinking that there is no EDGE in MOTO ROKR E6 but it has. So what about this phone instead of 5700 because it is touch screen.

ROKR is good option,if you want touchscreen.But rokr has class 10 gprs & edge.

While 5700 has class 32 gprs & edge & 3G.So it will provide you the fastest net speeds.
The speeds are good than any other phone.I am using this phone as a modem.I browse through this forum mostly from my nokia 5700 or using it as a modem to pc.

The decision is yours.You want touchscreen+edge or class32 edge,gprs,3g + symbian.
I still suggest Nokia 5700.I have mentioned why i don't recommend ROKR E6 in my review.
Read it again,so that it will be clear to you.

Cool G5, how much is the difference between class 10 and class 32 in terms of speed? I am changing my k750i only because on internet speed so if 5700 has better speed than i will go for it only. But I am in doubt about EDGE in rokr again. in other thread somebody are saying it has while other not.

For edge in rokr u have to unlock it.
The speed difference between class 10 & class 32 are drastic.

to actually Tell guys there arent much speed differences between Class10 and 32 but there will be in Edge
i suggest u class10or32 gprs is not a Big deal untill u have Edge on ur mobile ;) if not then it may help u

Actually they're talking about Class 10 and Class 32 EDGE, not GPRS. Btw i don't think any Indian service provides supports Class 32 EDGE. Class 10 should be enough. We don't even get maximum capable speeds of Class 10 sometimes.

Btw, you don't hafta stretch your budget by 2-3k. 5700 is available for about 10.8k now :)

I have checked that the price of E51 is only Rs 1000 more than 5700 so would be a better option. My reason of liking E51 over 5700 are :-
1. D-pad instead of Joystick
2. Rotation thing in 5700 may be not durable (not sure)
3. Push e-Mail support in E51

Basically I am liking E51 only because of durability otherwise feature wise I like 5700 . Now don't know what to select?

1)The joystick of 5700 is good.
2)The rotating bottom is also durable,don't worry about that.
3)About push e mail,i think so there must be some app for 5700,to support push email.(Not sure)

1.yea the d pad of the e51 is better than the 5700.
2. Nope the swivel is very durable.
3. yea 5700 doesnt hav push email but u can set email clients to automatically scan for new mail evry 5-10 mins.
4. also the e51 cam doesnt hav flash..
5. e51 support 3.5g while 5700 supports only 3g tho that shouldnt be a concern in india..
6. e51 has wifi..
BTW e51 is 1.5k more than the 5700.
Also 5700 speakers are louder than th e51 has comes with better earbuds.
