Q : Has anyone used USB to SATA converters?
A : No.
Ha ha, nope but I've used IDE TO USB Converter, but it gave me problems with the pins as the converter was of poor quality, but I suggest you, If you use your Hard Disk like a "pen Drive" then consider using E-SATA one

couple of questions:
1>why is e-sata superior to usb?
2>how often does usage 'usb to sata' cause hard-disk failure?
