GPRS speed problem????

guyz i m getting very low download speed with my Airtel GPRS connection.... last month i was getting 6-10 kbps download speed,but now i m getting 1-2 kbps....is there any trick or tips to increase my download speed

if u use an mobile with EDGE techology it will be faster and use download accelerator to download files am getting a maximum speed of 30 kbps in early morning using sony erricsson w810i

ya my samsung sgh E-490 has edge....& its always show "E" icon wen i m connected....
