to me this looks like a easy way to make money for LG. Nexus 5 or 4S or whatever refresh appears may be available here through Google Play for lot less. And if this happens nobody will buy N4. So what they do is launch the remaining stock of N4. Or more like dump here.

I don't think Google will give them that opportunity
Either it will be just Nexus 4 LTE ( I don't think it will but.) or Nexus 5

Yes N4 will be available both online and offline (from LG Stores and other Retailers).
