good idea?

hey guyz iam having some money to spend but iam confuse what to do ,
iam looking at 650ti boost and later on sli as i cant buy a good single card now
so my question is 2x 650ti boost worth it?
i will have to buy a new SLI mob in order to sli is it worth it ?

my current specs :


processor - intel core i5 2500k

motherbaord - asrock b75

ram - 4gb

psu - cooler master thunder 500watt

cabinet-cm elite 431

hardisk - 500gb


and iam having around 16000rs for now later on i will get more money i cant wait much longer to buy a gpu as i dont have any gpu right now

so plzz tel me what to do .

650 boost sli not gr8 idea IMO..
Yeah thunder 500 is bad IMO.
Get seasonic S12II 620 @ 5.5k (that means you have money left for a HD 7790 or a GTX 650 which are very bad for MGPU setups)

if you can just prepare to sli GTX 650 ti boost as it can outperform a GTX 680 and gives performance similar to HD7970 Ghz Ed.

I would suggest to get a gtx 660 now and upgrade to a z77 board later. Cm thunder will be OKAY as the cpu will not be overclocked, but should be upgraded asap.

i dont think 660 wil be enough for upcoming games @ 1080p plus i cant be able to do sli as it will soon get discounted because 760 is out, so what about 650ti boost now and sli in december or jan will it get discounted by then?

I don't think a B75 motherboard support SLI. So getting a single powerful card is your only choice.

iam thinking of buying a new mobo asrock z77 extreme 3 because it will support OC my i5 as well as SLI 650boost good idea?

a decent Intel SLI board ~ 12K + gtx 650Ti boost ~12K + another later let's say 9K + a good 650W psu ~ 6K
total you are spending near to 40K

so why not spend 20K & get a 760 ???

the problem is my psu will not support gtx 760 and then again i need to buy a new psu as-well and if a sli i will only buy a mobo and a gpu by november and will add another for SLI around the month of jan , so any specific reason why to go for 760?

after your suggestions iam going with gtx 760 but iam afraid will my psu can power this beast! for at-least 2 months my psu is having 1x6 pin and this gpu requires 2x6pin will it be worth to use the molex?

and i will be gaming at 32inc tv so will gtx760 will be enough?

Better change that PSU(even if you go for SLI setup you need to do this)

32inh doesn't matter, resolution does (i guess its 1080p & GTX 760 would be very happy @ that res.)
