Gmail drive

Hi
I am want to use gmail drive to upload few contents so that we can use it anywhere.
I want to share it with my friends also. So my que is cant we set permissions in that drive so that no one expect me could delete contents.
Is there any other way to implement same thing.
Please help ....

I guess there is nt any such way. coz the files are uploaded as attachments sent to ur mailbox to access which the username & password are sufficient.

well y dont u make an email id whose id and password id known to all ur frnds, then u can share those things with each other, i m doing the same thing.

well thats not his question i think. by telling the password to ur frenz u can always share files. but he wants to know if he can set permissions so that none but him has the power to delete the files.

No , u cant do that coz tis not a real kinda drive only virtual and that too attachments...
better go for some other free options for data backup...

Ok guys got it . this is not possible through gmail.
Anyother way to implement it????

well, one thing from me :
keep a backup in another account without thier knowing
this way u can replace the deleted files
