hello guys,

about three weeks ago i started a thread
*www.thinkdigit.com/forum/pc-compon...lp-needed-configure-heavy-duty-gaming-pc.html

but i wasted 6k and now i have left with 44k only.
earlier i was having about 50k.
and i am going to buy my pc within next 3-4 days.

so i want your wonderful advice again.sorry to bother you , but what else should i do.
earlier i was planning to buy a sandy bridge rig but under this budget its not possible .
so suggest me what should i buy in this budget.

and someone plz tell me what size monitor is good for gaming.
because one friend of mine told me that 22 hd monitor is very big and i can
play well on any 19-20 inch monitor.and it can cut the costs too.
both in monitor and graphic card.
so give me your valuable advice guys what should i go for.

Anyone among you must be having a 19-20 inch monitor, so please share your experience of gaming on it with us.
i will be grateful to you.
earlier i was buying a 22 inch full hd monitor but due to some low budget i might be buying a smaller one.
and with smaller resolution can i go for a sapphire 5770hd.
it will cut the cost too.

i myself decided this:-

Corsair 4GB DDR3 1333 @ 2.3k
Seagate 1TB 7200.12 @ 2.8k
NZXT GAMMA @ 2k
Corsair VX450W @ 3.7k
APC 650VA @ 2.6k
Altec Lansing VS2621 @ 1.9k
LG 22x Sata DVD @ 0.9k

plz suggest me other components.

and also tell me a good 20 inch monitor.but if its possible to buy a hd then do mention it.
lots of thanks in advance to all of you.:|

c'mon i mentioned abt heavy multitasking and amd athlon cannot even compete with core 2 duos.

i think you did'nt carefully read my query.

except proccy and gfx other mentioned parts could be considered.

You asked for a square resolution. :?

And Benq G2220HD is a very good performing monitor.
Anyways you can get Dell ST2220L @ 8.7k or Samsung B2030N @ 6.8k.

And I suggested a HD6850 because its more future proof.

And what do you mean by Heavy multitasking??
Three Firefox windows with 100+ tabs, running 2 spreadsheets, three notepads, and playing games?? Well thats what I do on my Crap 2 Duo :D. That Athlon is 4 times better.

Guess you want this

Intel i5 2400 @ 9.5k
Intel Dh67CL @ 6.5k
HD5770 HAWK @ 8k
Corsair 4GB DDR3 1333 @ 2.3k
Seagate 1TB 7200.12 @ 2.7k

Can reduce by getting HD5670 @ 5k bringing the total to 43.3k :|

Right off the assembly line
There's Dell IN2020M for 6.8k. LED but it's 1600x900. I don't think they make 1680x1050 anymore. Have only seen 1600x900 and 1920x1080 resolutions.

Maybe you can go for 5770 instead of 6850 and use the money saved to go for phenom x4 955BE.

i seriously had to laugh at that buddy. ok sorry, but you shouldnt post something like this without seeing the reviews. this one got no match in multi tasking at that price point and is much better than core 2 duos. you can say gaming wont make much difference as games dont properly utilise 4 cores!!

a few days ago by mistake i ran COD Black Ops with NFS HP 2010 minimized. the gameplay was absolutely smooth with almost everything maxed out. its mainly for the 4Gb ram i think.

Maybe you can go for 5770 instead of 6850 and use the money saved to go for phenom x4 955BE.

later games will suffer cause of the mediocre performance of that card.

Good Rig....
just one suggestion:
If you don't need 1 TB hard disk then go for 500 gb one and add money to GPU and try and get a GTX 460 768 MB one.If not then do stick with Hawk 5770,great GPU.

Try to get a 6850 with that i5 2400 config. you will get a more balanced system and will be future proof. Don't go for 5770 now. If you can wait a bit, nvidia will launch gts 550 and amd will come up with 6770 and 6750 in Q1 2011. Then pick your card from these options if 6850 is out of reach now.
