yea but it would also be with XFX \ ASUS.. + u can always send stuff to US for repair if anything goes wrong-thats costly though
i'd say better buy from india

if bought frm USA, ~8k, if bought in India 2k extra , i.e 10k.

well, overclocking will anyway kill the warranty:)), so why bother.

so should i tell my friend to get this - e-GeForce 9600 GT KO 512MB
MSRP: $199.99 USD ?

btw it says
Interface
PCI-E 16x
DVI-I, DVI-I, HDTV-7
SLI Capable

Is HDMI interface there? as i want to connect it to my TV.:))

that way its fine but its already KO :))
HDMI is with DVI to HDMI
and thats a good card but why not super overclocked one if it fits ur budget?

this ?
e-GeForce 9600 GT SSC 512MB
Part Number: 512-P3-N867-AR
MSRP: $219.99 USD

well, i've to get PSU (cooler Master 650W), m/b / HDD/RAM too:)) under $400

PSU is a must, thinking about whether m/b or RAM .(HDD- can live with this 80GB for few more months:)))

^yea that one but i just figured that there's no use since u already want to OC and 700 to 740 is no big deal.
so EVGA KO will be the best,CM PSU 650W if u plan SLi otherwise its just power wastage,
live with motherboard for few more months :)) and get a new hdd.thats coz DDR3 boards will be mainstream and cheaper when Nehalems are launched.

well right now i''ve Zebronics 400W PSU which is like a jet engine (sometimes i get the feeling that i'm flying:))), its noisy, always whoooooosh!!!, i'll post a video on it.

this PSU has anthr problem (main) - power fluctuation . the Intel Desktop Utility every now & then pops up a warning (while gaming).

thats why i want to go for a one time investment for 2-3years:D

Yep if it is a KO then I dont suppose you ll be OCing it more.
So Warranty won't be void.. neways safe OCing wont void your warranty..
But still EVGA wd be a better option.
