Answer the below questions first..

1). Do you have enough space to keep this wheels near to your PC ??

2). Are you going to have a permanent mount or temp* mount ??

3). Which games you play ??

4). How much budget you have ??

5). Do you require Clutch - Brake - Accelerator Pedal or Brake - Accelerator pedal Combo is sufficient ??

6). Do you play games in Manual mode or Automatic mode ??

1)no, have to use mounts
2)gonna make one with the help of carpenter (permanent)
3)nfs,other racing games(mainly arcade type)
4)i have around 15 k max
5)i wanna buy g27 for clutch but also for metal brakes(dfgt has plastic type)ie increased durability
6)automatic mode with kb since i dont own wheels or controller

arihant infotech (kolkata) is quoting 17 k for g27

If you're going to use the wheel for Arcade games then better get Thrustmaster Ferrari GT Experience Wheel for 4k instead of Logitech G27.

Logitech G27 will be good, if you are playing any simulator type games like F1 2010 / 2011 or Dirt Series or GRID or even Simbin games.

If you're sticking to arcade like NFS [except NFS Shift & shift 2]then no need of spending such a hefty amount behind G27. Even logitech Driving Force GT will enough.

Logitech G27 is priced at 18k+in flipkart, so Logitech G27 is a good buy at 17k locally.
If you're using automatic mode in G27, then its completely useless buying it.

Logitech Driving Force GT is priced 9.2k @ flipkart, which i feel is a good deal. Grab it.

Rest, your call..

No doubt about g27's build quality. its heavy as well as sturdy.

Driving Force GT is also good, but plastic parts in Brake & Acc. Ped Module.

Go with G27 then. But make sure to try games with all manual mode, that's where the fun lies.

^ i got my Logitech G27 from flipkart last year. Paid 15.4k coz of some offers.

There's no chairs available atm in india. Try making one from the local carpenters or workshops.

16.2 seems like a nice deal, go for it.
