PhysX = nVidia tech
out of the games you intend to play mafia II and batman aa have nice physx effects (eyecandy). and so does the future coming batman arkham city. so i told to get 560ti.

if not then yes 6950 dirt3 edition toxic is great card.

with i5 2500k you need a z68 or p67 mobo for overclocking.
and no, cpu overclocking doesnt effect games much. gpu matters.

if 2500k -

gives crossfire or sli advantage (dont forget for that you need a better psu too)

@luv_u_shark

If planning to sli or cf in future, look for a beefier psu corsair's tx or hx range. I would suggest atleast a 750w bronze psu. Corsair tx 750-v2 should be good. For a bit more headroom, 850-v2 is the best.
