My PC is Intel P4 with Intel 845GVSR mobo. HDD is 80 GB RAM 512 MB.

Can I install a gaming card into it? If yes, kindly provide me details of the card and also from where it is available at Kolkata.

Your motherboard has no PCIe or AGP slot. You can't install any graphic card.

Your motherboard does have 3 PCI slots, but finding-buying-using an old age PCI graphic card is of no use.

I also thought so. One of my friend told me such cards are easily available. So, I posted the query. Many thanks for the reply.

better get a G31 board & 1Gb DDR2 ram for around 3-3.5k. this should give performance somewhat of PCI card.

Thanks, I will explore the option and let you know.

Thats out-dated like hell. I had bought intel P4 1.7Ghz + intel D845GLLY + 256 MB SD ram + etc... @ 40k 7 years ago in 2003!!

i agree with Sam.Shab as G31 is the cheapest intel option available and you could get new mobo + cpu + ram under 5.5K at BARE Minimum...
