Rumours of a 'mini' variant of the Samsung Galaxy S4 have been going around for quite some time. The smartphone, dubbed as the Galaxy S4 Mini, has already leaked in images twice. And now more details about the smartphone have emerged on the web. The S4 mini was recently spotted in benchmark scores, via a blog called TechTastic.
The benchmark scores reveal the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini runs a Qualcomm chipset, not the Exynos 5 rumoured earlier. The scores further confirm the smartphone will come with a 960 x 540 pixel display. The chipset is listed to have a 1.7GHz dual-core Krait processor and an Adreno 305 GPU.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini is likely to run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean straight out-of-the-box, and come with connectivity options such as Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11n. Check out the benchmark scores below-
Besides the S4 mini, Samsung is reportedly planning to launch two more versions of its latest flagship smartphone – Samsung Galaxy S4 Activ and Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom. The S4 Activ is believed to be a rugged phone, featuring water resistance. The Galaxy S4 Zoom is said to have a powerful camera. Read more about the S4 Zoom here.
