whats so gr8 about halo

Hi guys i have heard lot of halo ,what is so gr8 about this game? I have heard this game runs gr8 only on xbox and not on pc.Correct me if i am wrong.I have 256mbram,ati 7000ve agp card,3 ghz pro windows xp sp2 will my configuration be able to play it smoothly and has it got replay value?

It will run fine on ur PC. multiplayer always have replay value. plus the quests are mind-blowing and scarryyy (Trolls ahhh !)
