Hi,
I am using Firefox 3. Everything was fine and dont know how it happened. It is not remembering passwords now. I am not talking about the password manager feature in firefox. It is working. I am talking about the "remember me" check box which is usually present along with login page which remembers our session during future visits. The problem is like this,
I am loging into thinkdigit. I check "Remember Me" , and later close that 'tab' and continue browsing with other sites, without closing firefox. If i again open thinkdigit, i'l be logged in automatically. But if i try this after 'closing firefox' , i have to enter the login details again , which is not supposed to happen. I have tried clearing cache and tried every possible solutions. Reinstalling firefox may work, but I want to know the reason of this error and need to prevent it in future. Any other solutions other than a reinstall? I dont need greasemonkey "Always Login" script or addons. :) Thanks in advance...Geeks.. help me!!

Does it happen only with thinkdigit.com
btw do you close FF 'normally' or does it crash or hang?

Also do you first check the checkbox and them click submit or vice-versa?

@ Rohan : Not only with thinkdigit. But with every site. And yea. Firefox shows a Quit Firefox/Send error report message everytime i close it. Thanks for making that point. I never thought about that.
