The "Finger of God"
Hey All,

As most of ya know, I had been scouting for top of the line products since last month and finally arranged everything and wanted to share the list here before I give my final word tomorrow.

So here it goes -

1) Processor - INTEL Core i7 2600k

2) CPU Water Cooler - Corsair H70

3) Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD7-B3

4) RAM: DDR 3 - Corsair Vengeance 8 GB- 1866 Mhz ( 4 x 2 )

5) LED - BenQ G2420HD or M2700HD ( not sure yet which one to order)

6) GPU - MSI N580GTX Twin Frozr II/ OC

7) H.D.D. - WD Cavier Black 1 TB 64MB Cache x 2

8) S.S.D. - OCZ Vertex 3 120GB

9) SMPS - Antec 1200w

10) Cabinet - CoolerMaster HAF X

11) Keyboard/ Mouse - Razer BlackWidow Ultimate Mech/ Naga ( Molten Edition)

12) Power Supply - APC 1000w UPS / Belkin surge protector

I would appreciate if you guys got any suggestions or advices to share.

I got doubts over the LED Monitor, not many choices to pick 2ms/5ms Gaming Screen, so came down to G2420HD or M2700HD.

And I chose 1200w PSU because I might go SLI after sometime but not decided, so just wanted to be on the safe side and get it, I hope its enough and I will be doing OC too.

Thanks all.

I will say its a perfect configuration, go for it, but don't know much about the cooler, so let others comment on that

@ storm_alias: I thought you had already purchased your system. Anyways i would suggest you to go for the samsung PX 2370 for the monitor. I also Got themonitor from hyd.. I t costed me around 15k

anyway wats your total budget?

Dude I also suggest you to go for the Corsair ax1200.. i guess Corsair has a better service in india..I guess HX850 should be more than enough for u..Are u planning to sli in future?

Wat is the price of the ssd u are goin for?

Wats ur total budget?

@Storm_Alias

Well that is a perfect config mate:smile:. The antec 1200w tpq can easily power 4 gtx 580's in quad sli. Great choice buddy.

Although the corsair h70 is my favourite, others might specify the Noctua NH-U12P SE2 @ 3.8k or the noctua dh-14. Now the noctua's are really excellent coolers and really worth considering but are kind of big. So h70 is good in an aesthetics point of view.

For the gtx 580, i suggest you to go for the msi gtx 580 twin frozr III a.k.a lightning version. Its has an even better vrm design and can be overclcked even further without breaking a sweat. Sli later as your psu can handle it easily.

Also Please Post pics of the build ....
H70 will look neat + water is better conductor of heat than air ...

Thanks all.

I have decided to go for SLI in future... lets leave it there :)

This config is touching 1.20k , will provide all the prices later tomorrow.

I have some doubts about Antec.. mainly how its performance, stability and after sales warranty since Corsair is very expensive after 1000w.

And is BenQ G2420HD good enough ? in regards to gaming, HD Movies.etc..

^^ Antec 1200w tpq is a terrific psu. Its 80+ silver and is extremely efficient (more than 90% at full load). No doubts on stability and performance whatsoever.

Check its review HERE.

Here's a video of antec 1200 tpq running 4 gtx 480's in quad sli.

Good and well rounded.

H70 is a half-backed WC solution. Just go for a metallic HSF. You seem to know what you are doing -- so I guess you can decide..!

Waiting for pics...!
