Try out Firefox 4 beta 9. Really fast.

And all browsers are now fast enough. The difference is so small that it is hardly noticeable.

Opera 11 on Windows 7 is the best browser ever though. Chrome is my choice on Linux and I like Firefox on Mac.

Opera Mobile is pretty awesome in Android btw. Opera Mini as expected rocks with a slower 2G connection.

Opera is actually the "real" cross-platform browser. Opera Sync ftw. All my bookmarks are synced everywhere even on my phone.
