choice to go for Samsung S3 or Sony Series Phones.
I will go for Sony SP or Sony Series only.

I have practical Experiences.
My friends Sony Mobile Camera captured all detail of opposite Mountain on Vaishno Devi Trek.
Other good P&S Cameras were nowhere near to that performance by a simple Sony Mobile Phone.

but i found SPs display is dull where as grands display looks much better , even xperia C display looks sharper that SP

If Budget Allows,
I will vote for Better Sony Models, like Xperia ZR / Z
Check the Z Series in hand with specs,
then decide, what is best for you.

Grab it,
if You can / want it without warranty.
Check Seller's credibility (positive reviews) while shopping at any site.
Compare it in Croma type big store. check in your hand both Sony & LG.
Check performance and Quality.
Sony goes ahead but if you get good deal for less price in LG, it can be a good purchase.
Think before any buy,
