:smile: hello guys my friend wants to buy an entry level gaming pc . He stays in mumbai please do help and show me some good pc configurations . I have filled up the quessionaire . 1. What is the purpose of the computer? (Note: If you are planning to say multimedia, you will have to be more specific as all types of systems are capable of doing that)

2. Are you open to alternate ideas/products giving similar better performance but offering more VFM/ sellers? If not- why?

4. Planning to overclock?
A:no

5. Which OS are you planning to use?
A:windows 7

6. How much hard drive space is needed?
A:500 GB or 1TB

7. What resolution will the screen run at & whats the size of the screen you want? If you already want have one and want to use it, mention its resolution and size.
A:1980 x 1200

8. How would you rate your hardware knowledge from the count of 1-10? (1 being the lowest, 5 being you are somewhat in sync with the current performers and 10 being the highest)

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?

^^ I would spend a wee bit more and grab a better motherboard, an HD67 based probably about 4.5k priced.

And the corsair RAM cots 2.5k AFAIK.

Rest good rig, go for it.(keep in mind cabby is a bit small for the gpu, but it'll fit)

ya if he can spend more he can get Intel DH67VR-B3 @ 4.5k

^^ Agreed with Jas. Spend 1K more and get the DH67VR-B3 @ 4.5K. The extra 1K really worth as you are getting SATA 6 Gbps, USB3.0, 4 Ram slots dor 32 GB ram support.

i had a question
does h61 mobo support turbo boost present in i5 and i7 sandy bridge processors cause when i checked the specs of h61 boards on asus website it wasnt mentioned if so then there is no use pairing processors having turbo boost with h61

Turbo boost is a CPU specific property and it will work irrespective of motherboard type. Check the specification of i5 2400, you will find it.

NZXT gamma cabby at 2200 rs is the best.....
anywayz cm elite 310 is ok too...
but ram 4gb at 4000rs!!! whats the RAM speed???
is it 1333mhz or 1600mhz

MV VIP to the MAX
Better change the PSU before something blows up(never trust desi PSUs). Does it carry an 80+ certified sticker? Change the PSU to Corsair VX450 @ 3.5k ASAP.

my psu has 3 years warranty and it has 88% efficiency . It is gold edition psu with 500 w power .
