DVD Writer Woes

I bought a Moser Baer Pro DVD+RW for Rs 65 with casing. when i wrote on it using the writer that came with my laptop(Philips SDVD8820 with DELL Inspiron 1505 from USA) there were lots and lots of data corruption. when i checked Disc Quality with nero, the PIF were more than 200000!!!! and the score was 0
I tried writing even at 2.4x bt the results didnt change. Can anyone Help???

Check compatibility of blank dvd media for your DVD writer. Maybe it doesn't meant for DVD+RW.

My writer is compatible with all formats i.e +/-/+DL etc except DVD-RAM

Well.. check the data that you're trying to write. Maybe its corrupted. Or maybe you're using a cheap blank CD.

Try this: Before burning your compilation, untick BURN and tick Simulation. it will take the same time as your burning, but the data is not written in real time. This will check if you're able to burn the data properly or not.
