Broken In
hello friends,
as you all know , that India has another new "technology " these days in the form of DTH, so let us have a little more discussions on what it is technically and figuratively . do come in with whatever you know about it and in addtion to the questions below as being a non technical person, i found it hard to understand these terms and its pros and cons, yet i am eager to know about it very much :-
1] what are the frequency range the common STB [Set Top Box] needs to have to get the signals effectively ?
2] besides, Doordarshan, is it possible to see other DTH services in the same STB ? if yes, how ? and if no, why ??
3] is it possible to have interactive programmes through DTH like Video Demand using this same STB?
4] is it possible to access the internet through the same STB , if the service is provided by BSNL ?
5] what are the things one must look into while buying the STB so that he/she might not have to get into restrictions of not able to view the other services provided by suppose STAR, ZEE & SONY [these companies might launch their DTH services too in the near future]
hope you will come up with all relevant informations
