Downloading speed

hi guys ive a good downloading speed from youtube but i got a poor speed in direct links .like mediafire n oders..when the youtube download speed is around 150 kbps ..my mediafre dwnload speed is 12 kbps...why is it so...frns plz help me

Mediafire throttles Non-Premium downloads.!(Though not that much)
Use similar filesharing sites like Rapidshare/Ziddu/Crampit etc and see if similar issue exists.
If not then maybe Mediashare has some issues with you!

Use download manager like IDM and FDM and check if that makes any difference.
