Divx converter problem!

I have installed Divx converter and when I drag any .DAT extension files to converter it shows "unsuported files". Please help

which DivX converter r u usin

if it is showin unsuprted files it obviously menas that d sw does not support *.dat files for conversion

check the list of file types it supports

usually such converter sws will have support for *.mpg files

so i suggest that u first convert the *.dat file to *.mpg file using VCDgear and then use the mpg file for conversion

another soln wud b 2 use SUPER © v2008.build.25
it supports the use of *.dat files and will compress it using divx codec in an avi ontainer

I am sure that you have used Divx Converter. This converter can only support these formats:
* MPEG1
* MPEG2 (plug-in required)
* WMV 7-9
* DIVX 3-6
* AVI
* XVID
* MJPEG, Motion JPEG
* MP4
* MOV (if user has QT 5+ installed on their computer)

In order to convert DAT to Divx, use Super Converter (Freeware).
