Digicam: Suggestions Required

I am looking for a digicam with a budget of below 15k. After going through the reviews of n number of digicams over the net, I am hell confused now.I need a cam with atleast 6 mp resolution n 5x optical zoom.Based on the reviews, i have sorted 3 out of the long list of available cams.

1. Kodak C875 (8 mp, 5x optical zoom)
2. Kodak V803 (8 mp, 3x optical zoom)
3. Fuji FinePix S5700 (7.1 mp, 10.7x optical zoom)

Please help me out in sorting out the best. Incase the mentioned cams doesn't fit into the 'best' category for the given price, please suggest a better one.

Kodak is not the one I would recomend u

Cannon or Nikon are the best in business now

If you have someone to bring a digicam from US go for this.....

Even If u pay the duty, It'll turn out cheaper than what you can buy in India.....
BTW....why are stuffs so expensive in our country?

What abt getting the Fuji cam then? As far as the specifications are concerned, it looks ok to me. Fuji Cam users....plzz share ur experience.

When It comes to Cams, only Canon and Nikon...U can also go for Minolta or Sony Cybershot.....Personally I wouldn't prefer a Fuji
Also check for the auto histogram and similar image processing features...

What I need is a better picture quality and optical zoom, even if I have to compromise on resolution.
