Data monitoring tool ?

I need a tool/software to monitor my data usage. Something more than a web browser plugin, that can give me my daily/monthly usage of my internet usage including net surfing, downloads, windows updates, etc, in short, all of my net usage..

Pls hlep. Kindly suggest me some free tool.

The figures shown by the tool are huge ! it shows i hv consumed ~6.5 GB of data ?
Hw is tht possible. I haven't downloaded any bigg stuff. I hv configured to monitor the traffic of my LAN. Not able to configure to ingnore the LAN traffic and monitor just the internet traffic. Even installed winPcap. Still no use

Will bandwidth monitor a try.
