CRC Errors!!!

    After downloading 79 MB of a software, i see a crc error in the zip file:

    Use Path: yes Overlay Files: yes
    Extracting Data1.cab
    bad CRC e6aca4b4 (should be f946dd34)

    HOW DO I SOLVE THIS PROB????

    its Cyclic Redundancy Check Error : caused due to missing bits of data try fixing it by using the fix tool available with WinRAR

    try using some ZIP recovery tools ?

    if u used flashget, try "the repair zip file" feture.

    Download the file again (lol)
    or else use the repair feature of Winrar

    if you are using winrar then use this trick

    winrar extracts the whole file and then checks for crc ..
    so when winrar shows this error ..
    go to the file " whatever folder\ data1.cab"
    copy paste it to another folder
    and then click ok on winrar

    if you are lucky then file may work inspite of being erroneous
