aaaaahhhhh.... Windows is meanng of technical imperfection.... it can't be perfect....

I'm on my laptop with XPSP2 fully updated... AV is NAV 2005... Firewall is also NAV 2005 Internet Worm Control in-build firewall...

The problem is whenever I click the Control Panel from my start menu, Explorer crashes...
Sometimes it opens but Explorer crashes again if I browse through Control Panel... like It crashes everytime I open Printers and Fax Folder...

Look...

I temporarily get rid of this problem by deep cleaning my system's registry by RegSeeker/Ace Utilities...

But I want to get rid of it permanantly...

DEP is disabled on system...

I've NAV ccApp and Y'z Toolbar and MS ctfmon as my only 3 start-up progs... rest I disabled...

My system is fully fast and I don't think it's due to Visuals I'm using... 'coz it crashesh even with default Luna...

Any tweak... any sugession...

I've Hijack This installed... but I couldn't find it's LOGFile...

Batty...
where it is...???

Hephhh me...

Coming back to life ..
Hehe.. I wrote this thing long ago .. will work for you :

You should download the latest version of HijackThis from Here.
Uncompress the archive to its dedicated folder like C:\Programs\HijackThis .. This will help you to find the backups in case something goes wrong...
Run HijackThis by Double Clicking on the HijackThis.exe file...
Click on Scan ..
When the Scan is complete (it would take just some moments) , The Scan button becomes Save Log button .. Click on it ..
It will prompt you to enter the address where you want to save the file ..Save it ..
Now open this thread (please post in this thread so it will be helpful in locating ..) Copy the log from the file you just saved .. Paste it as it is ..and state your problem in the beggining ...

Best of luck ..
