You didn't even mention about reusing the speakers, KB+Mouse, UPS etc. Try to be precise when you're asking for a configuration.

sorry my bad, just wanted to confirm, are there any heating issues in 2400 or 2500k? and what is the reason you guys are not considering phenom x6? is it better to buy the i5-2500k now without a graphic card and then buy graphic card in a few months?

PS: The processor should be reliable. and should work for atleast 3 years without a need for upgrade to play games.

No need to go for the 2500k if you're not a hardcore gamer. And if you wanna buy it that badly, then you'll have to go for an expensive z68 mobo, a 1600 MHz RAM, a decent after market cooler and a roomy cabinet with good ventilation. Better buy a i5 2400 + HD 6850.

@dfcols71 There's no point in suggesting a H67 motherboard for the 2500k mate, no matter how costly it is.

'k' serise cpu on h67 mobo ? Simply waste of money and also a very bad suggestion !!
But @OP if u wanna go for 2500k, u need to increase ur budget atleast 4-6k.
And best suggestion in ur budget already been suggested.

For your budget and requirement i5 is not required. So don't spend on money for which you are not going to gain much.

btw Guy 960T is more than capable for any game out there as long as its coupled with a good GFX. It wont even bottleneck the HD6990.
