If I were to copy a very large file or say If I've to copy a lot of text or mp3 files from one folder to another and if suppose there were to be an interruption say there was a power failure, I wld have to go back again and copy the whole file again. So how do I avoid doing that, I mean half the file wld already be in the destination folder. I wld just need to copy the remaining half. Is there a software that can help me do this?

I hope you heard about Briefcase. yes.. yes.. our own Microsoft Windows Briefcase. The best way to describe it is that it synchronizes the files rather than copying them. The feature of it is that what ever is saved is never lost. Even if it doesnt save the whole file, you can get back and save the rest of the file.

Hope that answers your Question.

U actually restart ur pc and boot into linux to do a file copy? That would be a bit slow for me.
