confused on spec

hello frnds

i was just checking my card with gpu-z and i found it says my gpu is a GF116
. my card is sparkle GTS 450 1GB DDR5 which is supposed to be GF104...

is this ok or does my card have some issue......?
i posted before about pc restarting issue whn i was playing but i had that only once

Well GF116 is found in a 550Ti, and in other 5 series cards.. how the hell did it get on your 450 ?

maybe Galaxy used some experimental Nvidia GF116 die with 1 ROP disabled. else GPUZ reported it wrong.

guys i also have a pbl,m with system restarting while gamming i posted in hardware section does ths have any think to do with it......

is there any other way i can check draphics spec other than gpu-z

try speccy.
although any 3d benchmarking tool like sisoft sandra,3dmark etc gives full details of Gpu too.

Newer GTS 450 cards have GF116 core. This is because GF106 production is now discontinued.
