LG L9 is really good
LG L9 is really good
Dude X:L gonna launch next month IMO wait a month and get X:L it will eat L9 alive.
I would throwout anything LG
What will be the price of Xperia L?
But it only has 5MP camera. You can get 8MP with the grand and xperia L for only a few more bucks.
So i think the choice is upto OP whether he wants a bigger (Grand 5") or a big (Xperia L 4.3") screen.
But somehow, I don't like X L's design. It's a bit feminine, and I guess it's got on screen buttons, reducing display size.
Except camera L9 is father of Grand note that and about size of screen go and see comparison b/w both the devices

1. SIM (L9 = Single, Grand = Dual)
2. Internal Memory (L9 = 4GB, Grand = 8GB)
3. Memory Expansion (L9 = 32GB, Grand = 64GB)
4. Bluetooth (L9 = v3.0, Grand = v4.0)
5. Primary Camera (L9 = 5MP, Grand = 8MP)
6. Secondary Camera (L9 = VGA, Grand = 2MP)
7. GPS (L9 = A-GPS, Grand = A-GPS + GLONASS)
AND
8. Screen Size (L9 = 4.7" , Grand = 5")
And L9's the father?
The L9 only has a higher pixel density but again its LG! :-
well its not about how many
Sim - I personally don't find difference coz S4 is also same Sim slots,
bluetooth version - same as above coz i download most of my stuff n ya i agree that files transfer faster but i think both need have same same version 2 get max speed,
Secondary camera - frankly i have using a cellphone(2yrs) having front camera n i can say that i have just done 20hrz of video calls (its like hello tunes- others only get 2 see u so whats d big deal),
GLONASS- better 2 have screen gaurd n flip cover
so it depends Person 2 person n
we need to know that u have 2 compromise on somethings
Windows8 OS is great but apps n youth lack (i.e. my friends have android so I don't want to be Unique in front of them n buy Win8 n if some bug r issues r there u have go through website 2 website to get it done) - example m a great fifa fan i play fifa13 but i found a website in which i get latest transfer updates, face pack , boots, player apperrence so i asked all my friends to go through that site
It definitely gets down to person-to-person preferences but that doesn't stop one from making generalized conclusions. Going by your logic, a micromax may be better than an iPhone .
m not saying micromax may be better than an iPhone. ny we r talking about the 15-20k market and it is still considered as mid range even 4 mine it is semi-high-end. but i cannot get premium features n have 2 make compromise bt what is necessary is the hardware, software n after sales n u can go more details.
Samsung Grand is winner hands down in after sales, n rest won by Lg. Lg has less brand value than Samsung
I am suggesting you go for Grand since my first post.
Grand is worth it rite now @ 18k. There may be better things in couple o months.
Here is the second one.Dude u r the first one (i have seen) who is suggesting grand on TDF

its not worth even at 18k hangs a lot seriously it sucks
- Grand uses broadcom BCM28155 SoC which has videocore gpu which isn't the fastest in this price range. Galaxy Y uses same gpu i.e. videocore but its single core.
- I have seen this set a store the low resolution, low ppi is very much visible when you watch video, read ebook and the font is too big.
- TI OMAP 4430 SOC(Dual Cortex A9+SGX540) in L9, for those who don't know this is the same SOC(chip) present in Galaxy Tab 7" and 10" series, Galaxy Nexus, Droid RAZR and a bunch of other high-end devices from 2012-2013, so, right there on the performance metric. Grand is bad only for lower screen resolution period. And I have seen this set on Samsung store, totally disappointed only because of screen.
- battery backup is not that good as well.
- Multi-window is good feature but it will not benefit on 5 inch phablet.
- Grand hangs a lot. OS isn't the most optimized.
- Now 3rd party Multi-windows can also be found at play-store.

hey Tenida whats ur thought o the Upcoming
Huawei Ascend Y300 will it be able 2 run "some HD games"
coz m thinking of gifting it 2 my cousin on my n ur assamese cum Bengali new year
now G600 ships with qHD resolution display whereas Y300 has WVGA display. which naturally mean if G600 can play demanding games, Y300 too should.Gaming Performance
The fact that the results of the benchmark tests are underwhelming, does not necessarily translate into inadequate performance. Earlier, we determined that the video performance is more than sufficient even for FullHD material. When we tested different games from Google Play, we saw similar results. Two well-know 3D titles - "GTA III“ and "Need For Speed Hot Pursuit“ - show that the hardware is capable enough to handle even current and demanding games.
Here is the second one.
but actually dualcore Videocore4 beats SGX540. It can be because of the low resolution but even if the resolution was same, dualcore Videocore4 should be able to outperform SGX540.
Need to see the S2 Plus review
absolutely true. even at 30% brightness the battery drain is there. but it can be because of hardware acceleration. L9 may face same problem with Android 4.1 when h/w acceleration is turned on because of project butter.
Well I am eagerly waiting for the jellybean update.
AFAIK multi window only supports app that shipped with the mobile. you can't play angry birds and browse facebook at the same time.
But somehow you can find some apps called popup player where you watch videos (mxplayer or youtube and at the same time can browse or read pdf. In that way true multitasking is possible.
is it possible? in android apps are run isolated of each other. so multiwindow can't contain other apps or the apps must have support for some weird resolution. will have to check this one.
Somehow yes but not at the level of Note II but I think Popupplayer or Super Video, Floating & Popup apps is enough for mobile device.
Biggest problem of Grand is size and weight. With the flip cover adding more width on both side, holding Grand can be a problem for most.
And L9 is light with clip case on.
Huawei Ascend G600. Internal specs are pretty close with only ram being 768MB instead of 512MB.
