WTH!!!! APC have problems? I don't know whether you are crazy or i am blind. BTW APC is too good to even blame. So if you can get APC in your city, get it. Don't even compare Numeric over APC.

Another thing is APC's after-sales service. I had a 550VA UPS which started giving abysmal backup time after 01 year. I lodged a complaint through their website and it has been replaced within 2-3 days without anything asked. BRILLIANT!!!

Your question is meaningless.
UPS and PSU are independent.

I want to know whether the 600va ups can hold the computer having 500w smps for at least 10minutes when the power is lost

Considering the price would 5770 be a better choice than 6850

The suggested config has 800VA UPS. You're thinking of getting 600VA? Why?
600VA will give backup but not for long. 800VA is just Rs. 700 more than 600VA so why take chances??

You are misinformed.
