Categories in Blogger - Without Hacking

here is how you add categories in blogger without messingwith the theme file or any third party sites:

This is propably one of the most discussed topics ever on the internet. Google Blogger is great. Kudos to google for this wonderful software, and I thank them and words aren't enough to do this. I am even willing to host free adsense advertisements for them on this blog. One thing however, which makes people choose wordpress.com over blogger is the fact that blogger lacks categories. You can't organise your posts into categories.

I have one exclusively for youtube videos. I organise them there, and I can view them whenever I want.

did you follow all my steps ?
did you try to ensure that only single word categories are created ?
you can name the category how ever you want.
but please ensure that the tag is a single word.
and don't use this tag anywhere else except when you want to add the post to the category.

Neat - i had been tagging my posts with only one tag so that tag = category, but yours is better

but then u got be careful that you don't mix up tags - for ex, a post tagged with music and tutorial will appear in both categories in your blog

Thanks. Actually, I remembered you telling me of your way looooong back. So now, when I made the blog, I decided to try yours, but all I remembered was the word "comment". Now, I decided to think in the angle of the word "comment" and voila ! I ended up with this. So I must thank YOU for the big fat and hairy keyword COMMENT.

Never before did I think google search, even the one within blogger, can actually ADD a feature
