U can try gaim. It's open source. Or try trillian.
I personally would recommend gaim.

@Naresh - The above mentioned softwares are good, but I'd tell u something cool, just check in the search in the forum with E-messenger and u will love it . It doesn require a software , its a website and has [yahoo, hotmail, 1 more]

Its simple enough to use just like a normal yahoo messenger, just dont have the automatically sign in checked
