Away from Forums, Again!
Hello guys, I am planning to buy two, yes two mobile devices, one for me, and one for my mother.
For my mother, as she is a housewife, and very rarely goes out of the house, I have decided the budget around 5-7k, as a phone in this category will be more than enough for her needs She doesn't really need wifi, touchscreen, front camera and extra features. What she does need is a good rear facing camera, standard music options, and the phone should look good.
Need to buy Mom's phone before 31st July as it's her birthday on that day, so please advise first on mom's phone, then on mine
For myself, I am going for Samsung Galaxy SIII, as it's the most powerful Android device ever made. If there is any other better option (not iPhone, read better) than the SIII, then please enlighten me. No budget restrictions at all. I will be buying the phone before 15th August
The confusion which made me come here is whether should I buy an SII or an SIII. Is there a significant increase in performance? Will it really count as an upgrade? I am currently having a Nokia 1600 (lol phone, with talking clock f**k yeah, does SIII have it? )
Here are some possible options I thought of -
>Samsung Galaxy SII + Micromax Funbook (For multimedia needs at home, and good phone for outside)
>Samsung Galaxy Note (for both multimedia and good phone features, but heard it slows down after some time).
>Samsung Galaxy SIII (For this I have to sacrifice my Casio Edifice EF-558SG But I think it's better than the above, am I right? )
P.S - Don't mock me for buying a low end phone for my mom, she doesn't need any phone, I am just gifting her one, that IF she needs to go outside, she can take it with her as she doesn't have any phone at the moment.
