Well the dm1z looks really good.
Any idea about the Nvidia Ion based laptops available in India. I've heard about the ASUS 1215N is it better than dm1z and how much would it cost in India??

Samsung has added two new netbooks to their “N” series of netbooks, the Samsung N130 and N140. powered by the Intel Atom 1.6GHz N270 processor, 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, 3x USB 2.0 ports.
You won't regret buying it. :))

Intel Atom was designed to reduce power consumption and the processor uses a totally new design.. It isn’t an adaptation of an earlier architecture.. If mobility is what you're looking for, you'd definitely be needing a lasting battery. & that's exactly what the atom provides you with. Of course, don’t expect a competitor to Core 2 Duo ;) but it does what a netbook is supposed to do for you..and pretty impressively at that..It all depends on the nature of usage..if it's light, like browsing the net, watching movies, chatting etc. then there's no need to go for something which is more powerful but at the expense of battery life just because the price is more or less the same. Keep your purpose in mind & buy what does the job best.
Goodluck.
